Buzzard Point Marina Courtesy WTOP The Buzzard Point neighborhood is not just the destination of the new Soccer Stadium.  This area in SW DC is home to hundreds of low income residents who are being exposed to air pollution, toxic soil, and other hazards.  Residents are calling for analysis of these conditions and precautions to protect human health.

Last week Empower DC and Black Lives Matter DC blocked a “spacefinding tour” of developers in SW and SE DC Some people have questioned if this direct action is a proper tactic in addressing gentrification.
